Hey! It’s been a while since my last post. Those last months have been pretty crazy with a lot of work composing music and doing sound design and lots of dialogue editing… In the field recording side I have recorded a big collection of shotguns and rifles machinery (not shooting sounds this time, sorry!) and I’ve been in my first film shoot as an audio mixer, recording location audio and dialogue with the awesome Screenclay FX team! Both have been great experiences, and they have been a breath of fresh air too, after so many hours spent inside my studio…

I’ve bought some new equipment on a budget too, just because I needed it for the shoot (and for future similar jobs and, of course, for my own use in field recording!). I bought the Neewer Boom Pole and the BOYA WS1000 Blimp. For my surprise they are quite good, despite the price! Of course, I’ve watched and readed lots of reviews before buying anything, but I must say I’m pretty happy with them. And yes, I would recommend both of them as a budget option for this kind of equipment!
